Important Announcement re: Vent & Website

Hello Everyone -

As you know, we've experienced some problems over the past few days with our vent provider and website host. Because of these difficulties, we've decided to absorb the loss of the remainder of our subscription fee and move to another service.

Our new hosts are the most stable and professional services we can find. We'll have daily backups of the site, as well as additional technical things that Breue knows more about. However, these services come with a significantly increased cost. In order to alleviate some of the additional financial burden on our Stewards, we've reached out through some contacts of Riablo's to acquire a Guild Sponsor.

We are now being Official Sponsored by Captain Morgan. Our website has been updated to reflect their generous donation. Your Stewards and a randomly selected subset of members have also received a custom Captain Morgan add-on, written by Breue, which randomly inserts appropriate piratical sayings (and occasional in-game advertisements) into our chat.  While the new regulations do prohibit explicit advertisements, we've arranged to insert some of the following Captain-Morgan "hints" such as "My dog, Captain Morgan, sure likes Coke too" and "I would guess that gentlemen has a little bit of Captain in him."

As a guild, we've also pledged to post screenshots of our raids with at least 50% of our members in pirate costumes, and a majority with parrot pets (Green Wing Macaw, etc.) visible.

I understand this may be a slight burden to our normal routines, but I hope you'll all agree that in these tough economic times any steps we can take to reduce the real world expenses of the guild are worth taking.
